Dave Chappelle Regrets Saying “Give Trump a Chance”

RELATED: DAVE CHAPPELLE PAYS LIVE TRIBUTE TO CHARLIE MURPHY

Days after Donald Trump was elected Ambassador to the United States, Dave Chappelle was host for Saturday Night Live last November. During his epic 11-minute opening monologue, the legendary comedian closed out saying that the American people should give Trump a chance.

Well, after witnessing some questionable statements and transactions by the nation’s President over the first five months of incumbency, Mr. Chappelle is having second thoughts.

During a Robin Hood benefit event in NYC this week, Dave went to say, “I was the first guy on TV to say, ‘Give Trump a chance.’ I fucked up. Sorry.” Take a brief look at Chappell’s most recent stand-up routine; which hopefully more content from the event surfaces in the coming days.

Chance The Rapper Hits Up Haire’s Gulf Shrimp, Talks Memorable Kanye Quote

Along with Solange, Chance The Rapper is the cover star of Teen Vogue’s new issue. As part of it, Chance brought the camera to his home of Chicago, where he walked through the streets of the city and hit up one of his favorite places, Haire’s Gulf Shrimp.

“Since I was a kid, I went there after camp, after school, after lunch,” he says about the place, before going on to talk about how he doesn’t like isolation, meeting Obama when he was eight years old and a memorable thing Kanye once said: “When I dream of heaven, I don’t see sharp edges.”
