“‘Thriving’ is basically about my life right now,” Mary told Ebro on Beats 1. “I believe that I’ve come through a lot, and I just cannot let all the obstacles ever stop me from my growth. By any means necessary — don’t be stopped and don’t get stuck.”
ARTIST: ERIC BELLINGER
SONG: “APPLE BERRY NANA”
PRODUCER: FORTUNE BEATS, XERYUS L. GITTENS
ALBUM: THE REBIRTH 2
What do you get when you mix cinnamon water, marijuana, caramel and honey? According to Eric Bellinger, it’s that “Apple Berry Nana” — or the way his girl tastes. In the clip for The Rebirth 2 single, Eric and his girl go on a date night before taking things to the bedroom to get hot and steamy. Bellinger obviously loves eating that cat and he’s showing it in this one. If you love doing the same, this should be your soundtrack.
ARTIST: TORY LANEZ
SONG: “WHAT HAPPENED TO THE KIDS”
DIRECTOR: MIDJORDAN, MOKABLU
It’s a question that has merit and Tory Lanez is certainly wanting to find out “What Happened To the Kids” in his latest single. Leaving the singing behind and focusing on the raps, Tory gets on his hip-hop shit and tells a story of how things can escalate in the streets and innocent lives are lost. In the video, a group of dudes flex on Instagram Live, taunting rivals that they’re in their neighborhood, calling them out online. In a two-part ending, in one, they group of boys handles the situation with guns. In the second, the OG comes out and tells them not to do it.
There’s a message at the end too. Pay attention.
