Foot Locker unveiled its latest digital content of its #BecauseSneakers creative platform, celebrating the sneaker community’s passion for the annual culmination of basketball and style at NBA All-Star.
The creative spot, “We See Things Differently”, taps into a sneakerhead’s vantage point; while the crowd watches the dunk contest, sneaker enthusiasts including Jerry Lorenzo and Lance Stephenson focus in on the contestant’s footwear.
The spot features sneaker designer legend Jerry Lorenzo and his son, along with NBA icon Lance Stephenson, to bring the #BecauseSneakers mentality to life. You’ll also see a selection of some of the hottest upcoming releases such as the Nike Kyrie 5 “ROKIT”, Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Turbo Green, Nike Foamposite Floral and Jordan 6 Black Infrared

The Roc-a-Fella rapper drops a new video from his ‘Free at Last’ EP.
This past weekend, J. Cole and Meek Mill were performers at the NBA All-Star game and while Cole World performed during the halftime festivities, Meek performed to kick off the 68th annual festivities.
After he performed, Team LeBron and Team Giannis were introduced and the game commenced.
Not only did J. Cole perform at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game halftime show, but he also had a brunch, pop-up shop and show live in Charlotte, NC.
If you didn’t happen to catch the concert with the rest of Dreamville, you missed out on a lit performance and some previews of new music. Whether they’re from Revenge of the Dreamers III, is yet to be known but at the least you can hear a preview of what they played live.
Either way, they’re building anticipation and it seems like fans want the project asap. You can take a look at both previews below.
Jordan brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in Black and White which originally launched in 1985. For the 2019 release, it will have a few new additions.
White this Air Jordan 1 looks very close to the original release, there is some big changes. Starting things off we have Black laces instead of White while fur lands on the overlays and Nike Swoosh. The panels and toe box is constructed with White leather while the Wings logo by the collar which is raised, almost like a badge. Finishing the look is a White midsole and Black outsole.
