‘SILVER & BLACK’ COMING 2020?
Just two months ago, Sony announced plans for a Black Cat and Silver Sable joint film. With Thor: Ragnarok writer, Chris Yost switching over from the MCU, Sony has big plans for their spin-off shared universe of projects like Venom – which will also not include appearances from Spider-Man.
This week, the production company has officially found their director; as Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love & Basketball, The Secret Life of Bees) will now be helming the seat for the newly titled film, Silver & Black. This isn’t her first time directing a comic project, which she recently helped curate the upcoming live-action TV series, Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger on Freeform Network.
In addition to the role, she’s also set to help re-write the entire script with Yost, as you can expect more details for the SMU expansion project to emerge later this year.
