A few days ago, at Howard Homecoming, Fabolous spoke to Complex Magazine about how he became one of the few rappers to transition and have a career over 10-years.
In the clip, above, Loso spoke on how he’s used his street hustling tactics in the entertainment business – citing how he’s monitored older OGs in his time during his teens on the corners and legends in the music game in his twenties to be where he’s at today.
Watch more from the video, where the Young OG speaks on watching Drake’s career growth from well-over 10 years ago and how he’s become one of the biggest names in the world.
Jordan Brand looks to make a statement early on in 2017 by releasing this highly coveted new colorway of the Air Jordan 4. Currently known as the Air Jordan 4 Royalty, let’s take a closer look at this upcoming drop.
Opting to go with the always popular Black and Gold color scheme, the Air Jordan 4 Royalty is dressed in a premium looking Black nubuck upper. It it then offset by the bold hits of Gold noted on the branding and eyelets. Premium features on the shoe include the leather heel tab that takes the place of the usual plastic construction. Below you will find a White and Black sole unit that gives the shoe some nice contrast. Set to release January, 2017 for $190, is this a must-cop in your opinion?
Although we’ve seen albums from Rocky and Ferg recently, the A$AP Mob has gone four years without a project. Coincidentally, tonight marks the anniversary since their last mixtape dropped in 2012, Lords Never Worry, as the Harlem collective is back with Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends.
A$AP Yams originally planned to release it last year, but due to his unfortunate death in early 2015, the mixtape became a posthumous project which the MOB took time to properly honor him.
The project, highlighted by their Juicy J assisted hit-single, “Yamborghini High,” includes members Rocky, Ferg, Twelvyy, Ant, Nast, Yung Lord and the newest addition, Playboi Carti. Features come from Wiz Khalifa, Tyler, The Creator, Offset, Onyx, Skepta, Lil Uzi Vert, BJ the Chicago Kid, Lil Yachty, MadeinTYO, Yung Gleesh, Key! and Buddy.
Flaunting a classic palette of red/white/black, the sneaker’s primary tone is prominent across the toe section, and flows throughout the eyelets, collar section and signature Swooshes across its side panels. Composed of premium leather, the sneaker is further pronounced with contrasting white underlays, in addition to bright red accents covering the heel and outsole to cap off its respective theme. Finally, OG detailing is evident with Nike Air branding implemented on the tongues.
Retailing for $160, GS sizing (4Y – 7Y) will also be available and listed at $120. You can buy a pair at select Nike and JB retailers starting Saturday, November 5.
The release of DC4 has rap fans all in a buzz, and one to capitalize off that, Meek Mill is back with more content for us. One of the tapes brightest spots “Shine” now has a set of visuals to go along with it.
The video is all black and white, which is kind of different for a track that’s called “Shine.” If you’ve heard Shine already though, you’ll know a black and white video is just what’s needed for a track like this. He’s posted up in mansion with the Chasers while dropping some of the best lines DC4 has to offer.
After you watch this, make sure you check out his Taxstone interview, which dropped today as well.
There’s approximately two months left in 2016. Before the year is over with, there’s still plenty of sneaker releases to look forward to. One of those is the adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Tri-Color Pack. The pack comes with two different colorways to choose from: a Dark Grey and Light Grey version of the NMD R1. Today we get a closer look at the Dark Grey variation.
The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Tri-Color Dark Grey comes in a Dark Grey Primeknit upper. The woven construction sits on top of an all-White Boost midsole to create some nice contrast on the shoe. Giving the shoe some pop are the tricolored Three Stripes branding at the paneling. Black EVA plugs complete the major features on the shoe. No release date yet, but expect the to drop before the new year arrives.
Aside from the Dark Grey colorway we just went over, the adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Tri-Color Pack will also include this Light Grey colorway. Said to be dropping before 2017 arrives, let’s take a closer look at the shoe.
This adidas NMD R1 is done in Primeknit fashion in a Light Grey colorway. The tonal look of the shoe is broken up by the tricolored stripes placed on the paneling of the shoe. Hits of Black can be noted on the heel tab, laces and eyelets, while the Boost midsole below comes in all-White, which match up nicely with the White EVA plugs.
